Many casino games lovers have been
following this story with interest. Online casinos are
watching. too. It all began at the end of July when
Foxwoods officials found themselves running into trouble
with the State regarding Foxwood's latest PlayAway
promo.
It seems the State was unhappy with
the concept of being able to access certain information
about playing the promo online. Because the company's
web site had an area where players could check winnings
away from the actual land casino, State regulators were
considering it infringing on strict online casino laws.
Well, last month Foxwoods casino was
ordered to shut-down that section of the web site
promoting the topic until a final decision could be made
by regulators. Here we are weeks later (a decision was
scheduled for yesterday and delayed), and it looks like
the casino will have to wait another day.
At least we are getting closer to
learning the fate of the popular keno PlayAway promo.
